How long does the PADI Open Water course take?

Typically, the course involves 6-8 hours of self-study (eLearning), one weekend of pool training, and one weekend of open water dives.

What equipment do I need to buy?

Scuba 2000 provides the BCD, regulator, tanks, weights, and wetsuits. You only need to supply your personal fit gear: mask, snorkel, fins, and boots. We offer packages and rentals for these!

Can I finish my dives in the Caribbean?

Yes! Select the "Referral Course" option. You do the theory and pool here, and we sign your paperwork to finish the dives anywhere in the world.

Is there a medical requirement?

Yes, all students must complete a medical statement. If you have any "Yes" answers on the form, a physician's sign-off is required.
