Open Water - Locally
Come finish your Open Water course with us at one of our local dive sites. Each dive site is a short one-two hour drive away, making it easy and convenient to complete your course!
- 4 Open Water Certification Dives (over 2 days)

The price above includes all four of your open water dives with an PADI Certified instructor.
The Fee does not include rentals, air fill unless filled at Scuba 2000, Park fees, parking, travel, charters and accommodation.

Process
During the week before your trip, you will come pickup your rental gear from our shop. We will give you exact directions to the dive site chosen and the time in which you will meet your instructor Saturday morning. Our local dive sites can be at Centennial Beach, Lake Simcoe, Barrie, The Morrison and Sparrow Lake. During the Open Water dives, you will perform the skills you learned in the pool portion of the course. These skills are separated over each dive, so there is no pressure or feeling rushed to complete everything fast. Your instructor will guide you and help you complete these skills, so by the end of the weekend, you will feel confident and accomplished as a newly certified PADI Open Water diver.
What You’ll Need?
Pre-requisites:
- Must have completed the academic and pool portion of the course.
- Be 10 years or older.
Equipment:
- We offer Open Water students a rental package priced at $189 for the weekend. This includes your two air tanks, weights, BCD, wetsuit, regulator with integrated computer, hood and gloves. Mask and snorkel are not included.
