Session 2 - Hogarthian Equipment Configuration Workshop
3:30 to 6:30 in pool - Limited to 6 divers - Cost: $99


Delve deeper into the world of diving equipment with our Hogarthian Equipment Configuration
Workshop. Led by Heison Chak, this workshop not only offers hands-on learning but also provides
insights into mastering equipment configuration, buoyancy control, propulsion and more. Secure
your spot, and elevate your diving skills to new heights.
Equipment:
1. Tanks / cylinders: single (DIN or Yoke) or double with a dual-outlet isolator manifold
2. Regulators:
a. Single tank: The first stage supplying a primary second stage via a 5 to 7 ft/1.5 to 2
m hose and a necklaced backup second stage via short hose.
b. Double tank: One first stage supplying a primary second stage via a 5 to 7 ft/1.5 to 2
m hose and inflation for buoyancy compensator (BC). The other first stage supplies a
necklace backup second stage via a short hose, an analog pressure gauge.

5. Mask and fins : low volume mask, rigid fins (non-split)
Note: If your regulators do not meet the specified requirements, we offer regulator sets on a
first-come first-served basis. Additionally, if you need assistance in converting your equipment to be
Hogarthian compliant, please inform us in advance.

Biography
Heison Chak has been diving since 2002, he enjoys wreck diving in The Great Lakes and navigating
the time capsules concealed within Florida caves. His dedication to the diving community extends to
providing fundamental training for individuals aspiring to venture into technical and cave diving.
As an instructor for DAN, GUE, NAUI, Heison plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of
divers. Serving as the President of Ontario Underwater Council, he actively contributes to the growth
of the diving community. Beyond introducing enthusiasts to the intricacies of Technical and Cave
diving, Heison channels his efforts into nurturing the skills and leadership qualities of aspiring divers.
His involvement with NAUI and DAN instructor training programs reflects his commitment to
cultivating the capabilities and leadership potential of the diving community's future leaders.
