The Z3 is the most affordable regulator in the Atomic Aquatics line. It uses zirconium-plated brass with titanium second stage components to deliver the same breathing design as the rest of the range, in an all-black finish that can be accented with an optional colour kit.

Main features

• First stage in chrome-plated brass and 316 stainless steel, with Atomic's balanced Jet Seat high-flow piston and a fixed port cap.
• Second stage in precision-machined brass with zirconium plating, with titanium components.
• Automatic Flow Control (AFC) adjusts the venturi effect as depth changes, so there is nothing to set during the dive. A Rapid Adjustment Knob is there for special situations such as surf entries or octopus use.
• Patented brass Comfort Swivel with black PVD coating lets the second stage turn through 30° without the hose pulling, binding or kinking.
• Patented titanium Seat Saving Dynamic Orifice protects the seat in storage and helps the second stage keep its factory tuning.
• Pneumatically balanced poppet with a high-flow case and lever design, for easy breathing at all depths and tank pressures.
• Dual material second stage cover: the whole front works as the purge.
• Elliptical exhaust valve that reduces exhalation effort at depth.
• Dual silicone comfort fit mouthpiece with tear-resistant bite tabs.
• Optional Z3 colour kit (sold separately).
