The Shearwater Teric is a watch-style dive computer with a full-colour AMOLED display, a sapphire crystal window and a 316 stainless bezel. Shearwater calls it its most advanced compact dive computer: it covers recreational, technical, closed-circuit and freediving modes, with optional air integration. It is designed and built in Canada and depth-rated to 200 metres. This listing is the Silver version.

Features

• AMOLED display: a 3.53 cm / 1.39" full-colour, high-resolution screen with deep blacks and vivid colours.
• Rugged construction: sapphire crystal window with a 316 stainless bezel and buttons.
• Dive modes: Air, Nitrox, 5 Gas Nitrox, OC TEC (trimix enabled), CC/BO (fixed PPO2), Gauge (bottom timer with stopwatch and dive logging), Freediving (configurable sampling rates and alarms) and Avelo (unlock code required).
• Optional air integration: connects to up to 4 transmitters (sold separately), so gas pressure sits with the rest of your dive data.
• Digital compass: 3-axis and tilt-compensated.
• Alerts: switchable audible and vibration alerts.
• Customizable: 3 watch faces and 15 colour options, plus time, alarms and stopwatch.
• Wireless charging: charges on the included dock and on some third-party Qi-compliant chargers.
• Bluetooth: download and display your dive logs in the Dive Shearwater app. Firmware is upgradeable.

Compatibility and limitations

• A transmitter is not included.

• Sapphire crystal is highly scratch resistant, but sharp impacts can still scratch it. Shearwater suggests a screen protector if that is a concern.
• The battery is factory replaceable. Shearwater gives a typical battery life of 5 years.
• Avelo mode needs an unlock code.
