Notes

Because it also works as an everyday watch, the Sirius cannot be switched off. Mares notes that letting the battery run down completely does not damage it or shorten its life.

A dive computer does not remove the risk of decompression sickness. Mares advises carrying a depth gauge, a submersible pressure gauge, a timer or watch and dive tables as a backup, and reading the manual in full before use. For trained, certified divers.
