Halcyon Symbios CCR Pod
Overview
The Halcyon Symbios CCR Pod gives a compatible rebreather a wireless link to the Symbios Silver Handset and the Symbios HUD. CCR data, including a pO? reading for each connected oxygen sensor, then appears on your Symbios display. Pods are made for analog and CAN bus rebreather systems, with Fischer, 4-pin and 5-pin connections, so pick the connector that matches your CCR.
Key Features
- Wireless CCR data: Sends rebreather data in real time to the Symbios Silver Handset and HUD, which supports a cleaner equipment setup.
- Individual cell readings: You see a separate pO? reading for each connected oxygen sensor.
- One-second transmission: The pod refreshes its CCR data once every second.
- Analog and CAN bus options: Versions are made for compatible analog rebreathers and for CAN bus systems.
- Connector choices: Connections come in Fischer, 4-pin and 5-pin types, in male and female versions, to suit different rebreather configurations.
- Handset, HUD or both: The pod can feed a Symbios Silver Handset, a Symbios HUD, or the two together.
- Automatic sleep and standby: The Fischer and AK4 analog versions go to sleep once sensor output has been stable for more than 15 minutes. The AK5 CAN bus version switches on through its integrated water contacts and drops to standby when they are dry.
