What you are going to learn
This is a two-part course – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Become a better public speaker and get really good at demonstrating skills.
Prerequisites:
- Be teaching status AI or Active Divemaster
- 60 logged dives to enter and 100 dives to complete
- EFR valid in last 24 months
- A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
- Minimum 18 years old
Equipment:
- As a dive professional, you must have all your basic scuba equipment. Your PADI IDC Instructor will suggest additional gear that will be necessary for your Instructor Exam.
