Course Schedule
The Mid-Week Prep (Wednesday)
Before we head to the open water, we host a mandatory Pool & Classroom Session the Wednesday prior to your dive weekend. This session is designed to ensure you are comfortable and prepared for the conditions ahead.
Classroom Briefing: A short theory session to review your knowledge reviews and weekend logistics.
1.5 Hour Pool Clinic: We hit the water to practice essential skills, specifically:

Underwater Navigation: Sharpen your compass and natural navigation skills.

DSMB Deployment: Master the use of a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy.

Buoyancy Clinic: Fine-tune your trim and positioning.

Cold-Water Prep: All pool skills are practiced wearing gloves to accurately mimic the local diving environment.
The Adventure Weekend
We’ll meet at the shop to get you fitted for gear and provide your Advanced Open Water Dive Pack, which includes maps and directions to the dive sites. Your instructor will provide a full briefing on the weekend’s plan.
Required Dives: Deep and Underwater Navigation. Elective Dives: Three additional adventure dives chosen by the group and instructor.
Requirements & Prerequisites
To enroll in the Advanced Open Water course, you must:

Certification: Hold a PADI Open Water Diver rating (or qualifying certification from another organization).

Age: Be at least 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water).

Recent Experience: Have at least one logged dive within the last 6 months. If you haven't dived recently, a Refresher Course is required prior to the weekend.

Preparation: Complete all five chosen knowledge reviews in the PADI manual or finish the E-Learning program online.

Health: Be in good physical health and complete the Medical Form.
Equipment & Costs
Course Gear Requirements: You will need full basic scuba gear, plus a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB).
Exclusive Rental Packages:

The Full Weekend Kit ($150): Includes two air tanks, weights, BCD, wetsuit, regulator, computer, hood, and gloves.

Note: Mask, snorkel, fins, and boots are not included in the standard kit.

Fins & Boots Add-on: Available to rent for $50 for the weekend.
