I was certified in 1989 and immediately fell in love with diving.  Work and family kept me away from diving for an extended period, but then I started doing at least 2 dive trips a year.  My favorite “local” destination is Cozumel, and my favorite (so far) exotic destination is Raja Ampat.  I started teaching in 2010, doing my Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Instructor in one summer.  I started teaching the week after my final exam and never looked back.  My favorite part of teaching is how excited the students are when they get certified and begin to explore the underwater world.  My favorite part of diving for myself is how calm and relaxing it is.  Students always ask me for my “bucket list” of dives….1.
