The ST1 pairs a first stage machined from solid 316 stainless steel with the titanium second stage components used in the T3. Atomic Aquatics describes this steel as having twice the strength of brass and close to the corrosion resistance of titanium, at a lower price than an all-titanium regulator.

Main features

• First stage machined from solid 316 stainless steel, with Atomic's balanced Jet Seat high-flow piston.
• Factory sealed first stage: freeze protected and closed to silt and sand.
• Automatic Flow Control (AFC) adjusts the venturi effect as depth changes, so there is nothing to set during the dive. A Rapid Adjustment Knob is there for special situations such as surf entries or octopus use.
• Patented stainless steel Comfort Swivel with black PVD coating lets the second stage turn through 30° without the hose pulling, binding or kinking.
• Patented titanium Seat Saving Dynamic Orifice protects the seat in storage and helps the second stage keep its factory tuning.
• Pneumatically balanced poppet with a high-flow case and lever design, for easy breathing at all depths and tank pressures.
• Dual material second stage cover: the whole front works as the purge.
• Elliptical exhaust valve that reduces exhalation effort at depth.
• Dual silicone comfort fit mouthpiece with tear-resistant bite tabs.
• Optional ST1 colour kit (sold separately).
