A lightweight carbon fibre backplate with Halcyon's patented Cinch system built in, so you can adjust the harness without taking the unit off. Halcyon describes it as strong, corrosion-resistant and travel-friendly. It comes in standard and small sizes, bare or with a harness and a choice of aluminum or stainless steel hardware.
