The BARE Exowear Hood is a hood from BARE's lightweight Exowear line, designed for multi-sport use. BARE describes Exowear as the maximum thermal protection available in a neutrally buoyant exposure garment.

Exowear fabric

• Omnired infrared technology: thermo-reactive minerals in the fabric convert outbound body heat into infrared energy and reflect it back to the body for warmth.
• 3-layer fabric that BARE describes as water repellent, windproof, breathable, quick-drying, wicking and anti-microbial.
• 4-way stretch and a 3D pattern for shape, fit and freedom of movement.
• BARE states that Exowear slows thermal loss by 36% at 1 ATM of pressure in controlled lab thermal testing.
