What you are going to learn

Teamwork is essential for ice diving, so you’ll start by learning the roles and responsibilities of support personnel, tenders and safety divers. You also discuss types of ice, site selection

  • Signals and communications along with line tending and line-securing techniques.
  • Handling problems and safety diver procedures.

The course is split up into two sections.
The first part of the course involves a three hour academic portion here at Scuba 2000. Typically done on a weeknight.
Following that, you will do  Four ice dives over the course of two days.
