Dry Suit Diver.
Build the skills to enjoy cold-water diving in a drysuit. Start in our private indoor pool, then put your training into practice on two open-water dives.
Pool drysuit rental is included.
Equipment rental for the open-water dives is separate.

Learn how a drysuit, suitable undergarments and good buoyancy control work together. Your instructor will guide you through preparation, in-water skills and suit care.
01 / Classroom & pool
Begin with a three-hour classroom and pool session at Scuba 2000 in Richmond Hill. Knowledge development may use classroom study or eLearning.
Practise in our private indoor pool. Drysuit rental for this session is included in the course price.
02 / Open-water dives
Complete two certification dives over one day, putting your drysuit skills into practice with an instructor.
Open-water equipment rental is not included. Use suitable personal gear or arrange the student rental package below.

- Choose a drysuit style and undergarments suited to your diving.
- Put on and remove your drysuit with minimal assistance.
- Carry out safety, bubble and buoyancy checks.
- Practise buoyancy control and drysuit safety procedures.
- Use appropriate entry and exit techniques.
- Care for, store and maintain your drysuit.
Before you enrol
- Be a certified Open Water diver.
- Be at least 10 years old.

Bring your own mask & snorkel
All students need their own mask and snorkel, including students using the full rental package.
Your instructor will help you check the weighting needed for your drysuit and undergarments.
Optional equipment rental
Open-water student package.
The full rental package includes:
- Drysuit and thermal undergarments.
- Two air tanks and weights.
- BCD.
- Regulator with integrated dive computer.
- Hood and gloves.
- Boots and fins.
Mask and snorkel are not included. Bring your own.
