February 13 & 14 Bobby Bonner, Mirko Zadravec, Steve Farmer, Asti Livingston, Jory Gibson, Brian Clarke, Dennis Yim & Rick Santilli had an amazing weekend of local diving which concluded with their Padi Ice Diver Certification! With near perfect winter conditions the group cut out a heart shaped hole (Valentines Day) in the 9" thick ice at Centennial Beach in Barrie and proceeded to each do 3 amazing dives. The weekend was temporarily interrupted while an energetic, unidentified gentleman in his Speedo took a quick dip in our heart shaped hole - 'just to show us that we weren't the only ones having fun'!! Mike McCabe (our intrepid leader) would like to extend special thanks to Linda, Jenifer, Sergi Zinchenko and Jeff Segal for all their fantastic help. Great job guys!
